Our Facility

We are located in beautiful Doylestown, Pennsylvania at:

Doylestown United Methodist Church
320 E. Swamp Road
Doylestown, PA  18901

The church is approximately one half mile west of the 313 / 202 intersection. If you are traveling on route 611, we are located approximately 1.5 miles east of the 611 bypass on Route 313. Ample parking is available behind the church.

The Pre-School is housed within the educational wing of the Church, and consists of five recently refurbished, bright and airy classrooms, as well as our welcoming preschool office.  For recess students have access to a large, securely fenced playground and, in case of inclement weather, the use of a large, well-equipped, multi-purpose room.

Security is a primary concern of the Pre-School and Church. With the exception of the main lobby entrance, all exterior doors remain locked, with emergency push-bars for exit. The main entrance doors are monitored by the church staff, and a sign-in system is enforced for all visitors. Electronic security monitors on doors are also in use by staff.

Upon arrival, one of the directors is seated in the lobby to greet each student and parent or caregiver, as they walk to individual classrooms. Fifteen minutes after the beginning of each session, visitors must sign in and out at the church office.

Students are accompanied at all times by staff.  All classrooms are equipped with first aid kits and emergency preparedness bags. The staff are required to wear identification badges and carry walkie talkies, which connect them with the preschool office.

During the month of October, in which fire safety and prevention are stressed, students in all classes practice exiting the building. Procedures are in place in case of an extreme emergency in which students would need to evacuate the site, or if the school would need to be locked down. Children in both the 3-day and 5-day programs practice a “nature walk” from our grounds to Linden Elementary School, our safe site.

My children learned the most important thing a preschool can give a student – love of learning and an excitement for school!

Class sizes are great and they learn age appropriate curriculum.
